Children With Special Needs & Gifted Children
All school work is differentiated according to the needs of the pupils. Children with special needs are identified in school and suitable targets are set with appropriate programmes put in place. The school’s Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator is Mrs Walters.
The school tracks all children’s progress so that a child at any level has developmental targets to reach. Sometimes it may be in the child’s best interests to follow a particular programme. Parents will always be informed in this case.
Work is differentiated to ensure able children are suitably challenged.
